The Ulinzi Stars team can enter the main tournament of the African Cup of Nations (CAN) for the first time in its short football history. In the FIFA ranking, Ulinzi Stars ranks a modest 132 (the best result is 127). In the current qualification, the Ulinzi Stars were placed in group G along with Egypt, Togo and Kenya.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

By all measures, the team looked like a clear outsider in this group. But that was not the case. The first match in this group took place in the fall and even then the Ulinzi Stars gave a surprise and beat Togo on the road 1-0.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
